Business Challenge
Rapid expansion of the client's digital banking platforms created simultaneous hiring demand across application development, DevOps and testing, three distinct skill lines that all needed to scale together, not in sequence, to keep releases on schedule. In BFSI specifically, every candidate also had to clear a compliance and security bar before touching production systems, which typically slows hiring down exactly when speed matters most.
Our Solution
We built a dedicated BFSI hiring team and drew on an existing fintech talent pool already familiar with the compliance and security expectations this kind of work requires, cutting the time normally lost qualifying candidates against banking-specific standards from scratch. Development, DevOps and testing were resourced as parallel tracks rather than a single combined pipeline, so no one discipline waited on another.
Our Approach
Application development, DevOps and testing were staffed as three simultaneous tracks so release cadence wasn't bottlenecked by any single discipline falling behind.
Candidates were drawn from an existing fintech-familiar pool, meaning the security and compliance screening step didn't start from zero for every hire.
An 18-hour average submission turnaround kept the interview calendar full without the client having to chase for profiles.
Close alignment on compensation banding and start dates ahead of offer stage is what kept dropout below 6% in a market where banking tech talent has options.
Client Voice
“We needed people who could pass our security review on the first pass, not the third, that's exactly what came through.”
— VP – Technology Delivery
The Outcome
With all three engineering disciplines scaling together instead of in sequence, the client's release cadence held through the full 10-month expansion rather than slipping behind the weakest-staffed track.
